Handle in the form of a male figurine belonging to a phiale-shaped vessel. The man is depicted nude in an austere frontal pose with his legs straight and parallel to each other. He steps on a palmette and “holds” in his bended arms the metal element that connected the handle with the body of the phiale. This element is decorated with two volutes each one springing a six petal half-palmette that would be attached to the vessel’s rim and a larger palmette that enveloped its body.
